MARYLAND MAYHEM is fast approaching, and, much like yourself, we at FOAMBASE are buzzing with excitement. For foam flingers unfamiliar with the name, Maryland Mayhem is an annual, weekend-long event consisting of 3 separate Game modes, with some events taking place on the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC) campus. The game modes include a campus-wide Humans Vs. Zombies (HvZ) event, a 5v5 competitive tournament where players showcase their skills and compete for a top ranked spot, and the "11th Hour;" a PvP blaster battle hosted by The Maryland Foam Alliance. This amazing invitational brings together some of the most skilled foam flingers from all across the country (and occasionally other countries) for an epic battle filled weekend, offering a unique opportunity to compete against your peers in a series of missions and challenges, all within an immersive and private urban setting.

Registration is required prior to attending the event, and is available through the Maryland Foam Alliance website here. Maryland Mayhem is a great way to meet fellow Nerf, foam flinging, and HvZ enthusiasts, and make lasting new friends and connections. Many participants return year after year, and report a strong sense of community among the players.
